Edmund was born and raised in the Philippines, along with his big brother who inspired him to pursue art. Edmund's first drawings were of cars and robots, for which he won awards in school contests. In adulthood, he operated a sign painting business that helped him develop as an artist.

Edmund migrated to Canada with his family in 2009. His first painting in his new homeland, entitled Jump! won a people's choice award through SAC. He was encouraged by his wife to enter more artwork in SAC's Open Judged Art Exhibit in March 2011. It was a challenge for him to get back in the groove of painting on cavasses, but he was motivated by the recognition he received in winning his award.

Edmund's art can be purchased or leased through SAC's Buy & Lease program.
